**Battlefield 6: The Second Beta Weekend**
The upcoming second beta weekend for Battlefield 6 is on the horizon, providing players with four full days of gameplay free from the early access limitations experienced during the initial beta. This event will take place from August 14 at 10 a.m. to August 18 at 10 a.m., enabling all players to jump into the fray.
**What content can players expect?**
DICE is enhancing the available content with additional maps and modes while keeping all the features from the first beta intact.
**The maps:**
– Siege of Cairo
– Liberation Peak
– Iberian Offensive
– Empire State (New): A purely infantry-focused map located in Brooklyn, showcasing a view of the Brooklyn Bridge.
**The modes:**
– Conquest
– Closed Weapon Conquest
– Breakthrough
– Domination
– King of the Hill
– Squad Deathmatch (New): Four squads face off directly, with the first to meet the elimination goal being declared the winner.
– Rush (New): Attackers try to demolish communication systems using explosive charges, while defenders work to thwart them. This mode, beloved since Bad Company 2, makes a comeback after being less featured in recent titles.
**New rewards**
Players can take on new challenges to unlock rewards for when the game officially launches:
– Capture 42 flags in Conquest, Domination, or King of the Hill: War Machine Vehicle Skin
– Achieve 200 kills or assists: Bat Company Dog Tag
– Capture 10 sectors in Breakthrough or Rush: Dominion Weapon Package
Although DICE and EA have not shared all specifics, players can look forward to possible surprises. Team Deathmatch and Escalation modes remain unconfirmed, and it is uncertain whether new weapons or equipment will be introduced. Furthermore, a rework of the Assault class has been mentioned but is not yet available in the beta.
