Epic is providing two complimentary titles: Who stands to gain from these gaming gifts?

Last week, gamers were given the chance to download Figment at no cost from the Epic Games Store. Now, its follow-up, Figment 2: Creed Valley, can also be downloaded for free. In addition, Epic is providing Sky Racket, a game that skillfully fuses the classic genres of Shoot’em’Up and Brick Breaker.

**Figment 2: Creed Valley**

– **Genre:** Action-Adventure
– **Developer:** Bedtime Digital Games
– **Release:** March 9, 2023

In Figment 2: Creed Valley, players once more assume the role of Dusty the cat, exploring the depths of the human mind. The realm is beset by nightmares, and Dusty, along with his avian friend Piper, must recover the compass of morality by venturing into the Valley of Conviction. Music is vital in this dreamlike setting, with aspects such as bridges and trees contributing to the melody of the mind.

A novel element in this sequel is the capacity to toggle between two states of the game world, open-minded and narrow-minded, which is crucial for progressing through gameplay. Players will partake in sword fights against nightmares and tackle puzzles reminiscent of the original game. Figment 2 also brings forth a co-op mode, enabling a second player to manage Piper.

The game holds an average Metacritic rating of 76 for the PC version, while Steam user reviews are 94 percent favorable.

**Sky Racket**

Sky Racket combines the arcade styles of Shoot’em’Up and Brick Breaker. Players navigate a sidescrolling landscape, confronting enemies, obstacles, and bosses. Rather than shooting, players must redirect enemy projectiles to cause damage. The game includes co-op gameplay, appealing to fans of pixel art and nostalgic arcade games.

Both Figment 2: Creed Valley and Sky Racket can be accessed for free on the Epic Games Store until July 17, 2025, at 5 p.m. These titles cater to those who enjoy emotional narratives and vintage gaming experiences.
