Electronic Arts has formally revealed the system requirements for the much-awaited Battlefield 6, scheduled to debut on October 10, 2025. Following two successful beta tests in August 2025, EA has provided detailed PC specifications to guarantee an optimal gaming experience across different settings and resolutions.
With TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot as prerequisites
The minimum and recommended requirements have not changed since the beta test. EA has made it clear that the minimum specifications will accommodate 1080p resolution at 30 FPS, whereas the recommended requirements target 1440p at 60 FPS with high graphics settings or 1080p at 80 FPS with low settings.
Minimum (1080p / 30 Fps / Low)
- CPU: Intel Core i5-8400 / AMD Ryzen 5 2600
- RAM: 16 GB (dual channel 2,133 MT/s)
- GPU: Nvidia Geforce RTX 2060 / AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT / Intel Arc A380
- Storage: 55 GB HDD
- OS: Windows 10
Recommended (1440p / 60 Fps / High)
- CPU: Intel Core i7-10700 / AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
- RAM: 16 GB (dual channel 2,133 MT/s)
- GPU: Nvidia Geforce RTX 3060 Ti / AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT / Intel Arc B580
- Storage: 90 GB SSD
- OS: Windows 11
Ultra (4K / 60 Fps / Ultra)
- CPU: Intel Core i9-12900K / AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
- RAM: 32 GB (dual channel 2,133 MT/s)
- GPU: Nvidia Geforce RTX 4080 / AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX
- Storage: 90 GB SSD
- OS: Windows 11
EA reiterates that the mentioned resolutions and frame rates are native outputs, without upscaling. The game will feature support for Nvidia DLSS 4, AMD FSR, and Intel XeSS at launch. Furthermore, Battlefield 6 will fully support widescreen displays in 21:9 and 32:9 ratios.
One key requirement is the obligation for Secure Boot and TPM 2.0, which the developers assert are crucial for anti-cheat protocols. While this may not be favored by all, the hardware needs for a 2025 title remain reasonable. In comparison to Battlefield 2042, the requirements are only marginally stricter, and Battlefield 6 requires considerably less storage, with the previous game needing 100 GB.
Although an SSD is advisable, it is not a strict requirement, as it was during the beta phase. Now, the question is: Is your PC equipped for Battlefield 6, or does it require an upgrade?
