The age of expansive Steam is definitely here. Last year, Valve widened store pages on Steam, causing me only mild discomfort. Last week, the Steam homepage began its own wide beta phase. Now, as part of a different beta, Valve is evaluating this same expansion in the Steam Workshop to “enhance the browsing experience, making it faster and more user-friendly.”
