**The Updated Battlefield is Gradually Depleting its Secrets**
A recent video sheds light on the specifics of Battle Royale in Battlefield 6. Formally, it hasn’t been disclosed yet, but the fact that a leaker is **navigating the map for nine minutes** leaves minimal uncertainty about its reality.
The initial reports that EA was revisiting this game mode appeared in early 2024, followed by multiple details a few months later, and shortly thereafter, an overview map of the full area.
## 9 Minutes Battle Royale
Similar to many of the leaks, the video seems to be sourced from a Chinese account. You can view all the material in the subsequent Reddit post or in snippets on social media. **Please note** that EA may block the videos over time.

Even the initial parachute descent over the map reveals that many sections are identical to the map that has already been leaked. The port, the golf course, and the larger city can be distinctly observed from above.
For a clearer comparison, here is the overview map again in a Reddit post:

Battlefield 6 is scheduled for an official release on October 10, 2025. As per the current information, the Battle Royale mode will not be available at launch and will be confined to campaign and multiplayer. There are speculations that the new mode will be introduced with the commencement of the first season. There is no official date for this as of yet.
According to the leaks, the new Gauntlet mode will also be situated on the Battle Royale map, reportedly named Lyndon Beach. This tournament mode for four squads is said to have taken cues from The Finals, a multiplayer shooter created by former Battlefield developers. However, it has yet to be officially verified.
