"It provides me with BF1 feelings" – Battlefield 6 reveals a new gadget, officially showcases the vast Mirak Valley map.

A brief video showcased a small segment of the largest map in the entire game, and numerous fans are already thrilled about the ambiance it generates.

Maps have long been a significant topic of discussion within the Battlefield community, and Battlefield 6 is no different. Specifically, the dimensions of the maps were a prominent topic during the two beta weekends. For many, the maps available for play there were simply too compact.

Nonetheless, as a leak has revealed, this is likely to change. Particularly, a map known as Mirak Valley is expected to offer a considerably larger battlefield, reportedly around four times the size of Siege of Cairo, the largest map featured in the beta. To date, however, only one screenshot of the map has been shared.

Now, for the first time, there is visual footage of Mirak Valley available – even if the map’s size is not particularly clear in it. After all, the video primarily concentrates on the new proximity mine:

Atmosphere reminiscent of World War I

The true scale of Mirak Valley can only be inferred from the footage. At the very least, the map appears to be notably flat and open, which is also evident in the brief segment. Fans are optimistic that Mirak Valley will be a paradise for tank operators and that the vehicles, crucial to Battlefield, will take center stage here.

The second significant element is the atmosphere. Mirak Valley genuinely resembles a war-torn combat zone. Dark plumes of smoke rise everywhere, structures lie in ruins, and the overcast sky accentuates the somber mood. Many fans in the comments have noted that the last time the series appeared this bleak was in Battlefield 1, which took place during World War I.

Among various reposts on X or Reddit, the same sentiment prevails:

“BF 1 vibes and I already love it.”

A screenshot also reinforces the notion that Mirak Valley feels like it’s set after World War I. Alongside charred trees, this image also depicts a deep trench. The image genuinely looks like it’s straight from Battlefield 1:

That’s all the information available about Mirak Valley at this point. Mirak Valley has not yet been playable on the BF Labs test server either. Therefore, it remains to be seen whether this expansive map will genuinely meet fans’ expectations. So far, however, they seem pleased with the visuals. Additionally, the mine appears to be quite impressive.
