Mario Kart Attains Equity with Significant Update 1.2.0

**Patch 1.2.0 Assists You in Finally Gaining the Desired Three Stars in All Cups**

Updates from the Mushroom Kingdom: As reported by the Toad press representative for Princess Peach, the significant update 1.2.0 for Mario Kart World is now live. The patch will be automatically downloaded and installed on your Switch 2, assuming your console is not in airplane mode.

So, what’s new? A lot! The primary improvement for many devoted fans: the CPU’s performance has declined. This indicates that achieving a full three stars in every Grand Prix and Knockout Cup should now be more attainable.

Here are the key highlights of the update:

– In Versus mode (single player), you now have the ability to completely turn off the AI drivers.
– In Versus mode (single and multiplayer), you now have the option to set items to “Mushrooms only.”
– After collecting all P-Switches, ?-pads, or Peach Medallions, the number on the open world map will display a different color.
– AI competitors have been overall weakened.

Additionally, there are numerous bug fixes and several beneficial adjustments to gameplay, user interface, and controls. The complete patch notes can be found on page 2. With update 1.2.0, the AI has been slowed down. It’s only a matter of time before significantly more players than ever can flaunt all three stars throughout the game.

Besides patches, new content for Mario Kart World is also expected to be in development. However, this has yet to be officially confirmed. Yet, we would be quite surprised if the racing game didn’t introduce new tracks, vehicles, and characters in the coming years.
