Epic Deals: An Awesome Cyberpunk Game Now Free to Play

This week, Epic Games presents an exciting mix of genres with two complimentary games: “Keylocker | Turn-Based Cyberpunk Action” and “Pilgrims.” Although they may not be major titles, these games assure captivating experiences.

**Keylocker – Turn-Based Cyberpunk Action**

Taking place in a cyberpunk setting on colonized Saturn, “Keylocker” is a turn-based JRPG created by Moonana Games, scheduled for release in September 2024. Players take on the character of B0B0, a defiant singer in a world where music has been prohibited for more than a century. B0B0’s adventure kicks off when she stumbles upon a robotic drummer for her underground band. Players can select from various classes like samurai or hacker, each presenting different abilities, difficulty settings, and narratives, combined with unique skill trees. The game includes turn-based combat infused with a rhythm game element, necessitating accurate timing for actions. With influences from the Mario & Luigi RPG series and Chrono Trigger, “Keylocker” has garnered favorable reviews from 87% of Steam users.

**Pilgrims**

From the team behind Machinarium, Samorost, and Chuchel, “Pilgrims” is an enchanting card game set in a medieval environment. Players traverse diverse locations, such as taverns and castles, solving puzzles by utilizing character and item cards. The game is distinguished by its hand-drawn artwork and storytelling approach, which lacks spoken dialogue, designed by the Czech studio Amanita Design.

Epic’s complimentary game promotion lasts for one week, until August 7. After claiming, the games will be stored in your library for later download and gameplay. Be on the lookout for next week’s free selections.
