While We Await GTA 6, an Impressive Fan Endeavor Elevates GTA 5's Authenticity

The July update for the GTA 5 mod “NaturalVision Enhanced” is now ready for download, allowing Los Santos to gleam with renewed brilliance.

Rockstar Games is not making it easy for its fans: Information regarding GTA 6 is emerging only sporadically, so we must continue to occupy ourselves with Grand Theft Auto 5, which is now approximately 12 years old.

Modder Jamal “Razed” Rashid continues this endeavor with a modification named “NaturalVision Enhanced,” which enhances the beauty of Los Santos. Razed Mods has launched a new update that incorporates its own technical advancements.

NaturalVision Enhanced introduces volumetric lighting to Los Santos.

With the complimentary July update for NaturalVision Enhanced, the modder has added new volumetric lighting effects during storms, resulting in a significantly more atmospheric environment.

– Furthermore, the lens flare and glare effects have undergone a complete overhaul. These visual enhancements mimic realistic camera effects and elevate the sense of being immersed in a cinematic setting.
– Another noteworthy feature is the capacity to create custom raindrop effects on virtual camera lenses, opening up new creative avenues.

Razed has focused not just on visual presentation, but has also reinforced the technical foundation of the mod. The July update addresses several critical crashes that were previously occurring. Meanwhile, NaturalVision Enhanced continues to be compatible with the previously mentioned Enhanced Edition.

“10,000 hours of gameplay just for development.”

Efforts on NaturalVision Enhanced have long surpassed five figures in terms of hours, as Razed disclosed to PCGamer.

The modder initially began with a straightforward Reshade preset called “VisualV,” launching it in 2016.

It wasn’t until a year later that NaturalVision was released in the mod form that we recognize today. The ongoing development has proven beneficial for Razed.

Though NaturalVision Enhanced for GTA 5 is available for free on the modder’s official website, interested individuals and fans can obtain early access through Patreon. Estimates suggest that Razed could earn between $12,000 and $89,000 monthly – after all, over 10,000 subscribers are registered on the support page.
