More than simply new entries – June is packed
Microsoft is igniting excitement in Xbox Game Pass during the latter part of the month: Eleven fresh titles are coming to the subscription service – featuring new content for each platform. Whether it’s strategy, fantasy, or sports – there’s something for nearly every preference. And this time, they didn’t hold back; they went all out.
Fans of beloved real-time battles can anticipate an impressive remaster package: All three updated Warcraft classics will arrive on June 26 in Game Pass – exclusively for PC users, though. Additionally, there are delightful indie treasures like Volcano Princess and the chilly tactical experience Wildfrost, which has already garnered multiple awards before.
However, action enthusiasts won’t miss out either: Call of Duty: WW2 will launch on June 30, alongside the well-regarded horror adventure Little Nightmares 2. And if you wish to traverse snowy ruins with Lara Croft one more time, you’ll get the opportunity to do so on July 1 with Rise of the Tomb Raider.
The only downside: Some titles will be departing. Classics like SteamWorld Dig or Arcade Paradise are exiting the service at the month’s end – so make sure to take a quick look before they’re gone.
Xbox Game Pass highlight: When soccer collides with chaos
Among all the new releases, one title particularly shines – Rematch. This game, crafted by the creators of Sifu, catapults traditional soccer into an entirely different domain. No referees, no limits, no offsides – merely unadulterated action in arenas where the ball must not only find the net but also battle its way there with physical might.
The combination is reminiscent of Rocket League, but with greater focus on physical interactions and precise handling. To triumph, you’ll need not only swift reflexes but also a solid team spirit – or at least the determination to disconnect your adversaries from the ball without hesitation.
Rematch will be available on Game Pass starting June 19, but exclusively for PC, Cloud, and Xbox Series X|S – and solely in PC and Ultimate subscriptions. With its rapid tempo and dynamic gameplay, the title is poised to create a buzz online in particular – and it could soon become a new favorite in the summer lineup.
