1. Resident Evil Requiem

Resi 9 has indeed been revealed – albeit in a rather unusual manner. During the SGF livestream, it was first disclosed that fans would need to wait a bit longer to see the new Resident Evil. Ultimately, it was just a 20-minute wait, as the trailer was unveiled at the end of the event.

Capcom’s tactic was evidently effective, as the game is presently ranked first for the highest increase in interest.

2. Ill

To clarify: The game is not named “Roman Three,” but “Ill,” similar to the English word for sick. You’ll understand why this title is so fitting once you view the reveal trailer. During our late shift, no other game elicited as many jaw-dropping reactions.

Ill distinguishes itself among the many new horror titles, earning it second place on our list.

3. The Expanse: Osiris Reborn

Undoubtedly the highlight of the Future Games Show 2025, and a consolation for all Mass Effect enthusiasts waiting for updates. The Expanse: Osiris Reborn, developed by Owlcat, is set in the universe of the well-loved TV series and draws heavily from Bioware’s successful role-playing template: choices, narrative focus, companions, and romance.

Fans of the series are understandably intrigued, but Osiris Reborn is also attracting interest from many sci-fi lovers new to the genre, securing it third in our ranking.

4. Pragmata

A dash of The Last of Us, a sprinkle of Death Stranding – Pragmata could offer a fascinating blend. In this action-adventure, you defend a small android girl who spends most of her time perched on your back, providing you assistance in combat.

Details about Pragmata remain sparse, but it is slated for release in 2026 and will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. This will be a single-player experience, with Capcom planning to share more information soon.

5. Dune: Awakening

At Summer Game Fest 2025, the survival MMO Dune: Awakening unveiled new aspects of the universe previously known only to book fans. We are currently testing the game across several phases, as real-time play is not yet possible in Early Access.

6. Chronicles: Medieval

The Middle Ages always garner interest – from us, from you, and from international Steam users. Thus, it’s no surprise that Chronicles: Medieval has clinched a spot among the top contenders after presenting itself as a likely rival to Mount & Blade 2 at Summer Game Fest 2025.

It promises to meld large-scale real-time combat with role-playing elements and offers a strategy map of Europe. The developers claim players will command thousands of troops on the battlefield and even establish their kingdoms.

7. Atomic Heart 2

Atomic Heart continues! This was announced at Summer Game Fest 2025.
