Is Diablo 4 Server Slam Open?

The server slam is one of the most anticipated open betas for the game yet. It’s going to feature a lot more content than the earlier beta, at least if the servers hold out long enough to play it all this time.

The Diablo 4 server slam isn’t open yet, but it’s starting pretty soon. You’ll be able to play the early version of the game between May 12 and 14. If you want to maximise your time in-game though, you’re able to preload the demo.

If you’re looking to get the most time possibly playing Diablo 4, you’ll want to have the game installed and ready to go before the open beta starts up. You can download the demo from these times, everywhere from North America to Diablo 4 Server Slam Australia

The server slam is free! It’s a free demo of the game that anyone can jump into at any point. On PC and console, you can play for free, you don’t need an online subscription to access it either! This brings it in line with other multiplayer-focused Blizzard games, like Overwatch 2.

What is Diablo 4 Server Slam?

Server Slam is just the latest in a series of public betas, so what’s special about this one? It’s much bigger. This is a full-on stress test for the general public. It’s going to ensure the Diablo 4 servers are ready to take the huge crowds awaiting the title at launch. However, it is only going to be available for a limited time.

The server slam is going to be the final open beta. Previous betas saw long wait times to get into the game and actually access the beta. This last server stress test should be a bit smoother for players. It’s also the final chance to earn an exclusive Diablo 4 server slam mount before the Diablo 4 release date.

The Diablo 4 server slam stress test isn’t just to let players try out the game. It’s also to see how Blizzard’s servers can cope with the demand. For taking part in the beta, you can earn a mount trophy in-game early! This is the Cry of Ashava mount trophy.

To unlock it, you’ll need to reach level 20 with a character during the beta. Then you, have to defeat Ashava, the world boss. It’s worth grinding through to unlock this if you want a head start on Diablo 4 before its release later this year.

That mount isn’t the only reward in the Diablo 4 open beta though. There are a few other rewards you can grab for playing through.
