After saying an emotional farewell to his Apex Legends team due to visa issues, Charles “MoistCr1TiKaL” White has decided to sue US Immigration.

Earlier this year, Moist informed fans that Moist Esports was dropping its Apex Legends trio against his will since US Immigration kept denying their Visa into the US for work and stay. He dropped the team to allow his players to apply for another Visa so they could still compete in the ALGS just not as part of his organization.

According to Moist, the US Immigration agent working with his players never had a good reason as to why the players were denied. He assumed that it was due to the org having the word “moist” but clarified that agents can just deny Visas if they feel like it by making personal decisions.

At the time, Moist said: ” “I think they are so bad at their job they should be charged with treason.”

Now, Moist Esports is suing US Immigration.

Moist has now shared a video outlining his decision to sue US Immigration.

Said Moist: “We, Moist Esports, are suing US Immigration. We talked with our lawyers and they agreed that this is very mysterious how it ever even got to this point. It seems that there are quite a few no-no’s that were committed here, and some protocol that wasn’t followed — a lot of big red flags, big problems.”

The lawsuit includes potential financial losses for Moist Esports, since the winnings from his former team can no longer be collected by his esports organization. The team has agreed with the lawsuit as well, with members calling the situation “stressful” and expression support and love for Moist and his org.

Moist went on to say that he feels there is “corruption” built into the US Constitution and US Immigration. He called the system “broken” and a joke. He also said the agent “mishandled” his players’ case. Unfortunately, the process to sue them will be “super expensive” yet yield nothing if they win.

“There’s also so much lost income here because there’s so much money on the line for the tournament, as well as so many potential eyes on our organization, as well as all of the legal fees,” Moist ranted. “There’s so much money that went into this, all of which was just burned thanks to US Immigration f—ing us.”

For now, the lawsuit only hopes to overturn the agent’s previous decision to deny his players’ Visas through Moist Esports. Even though he won’t get any compensation, that’s enough of a motive for Moist and his squad.
