Bo Vi Jungle Guide – Everything you need to know
Vi has been rising in popularity in both solo queue and professional play in the new season of League of Legends. Not only is she a great skirmisher with lots of damage but she also has a powerful point-and-click lockdown tool with her ultimate. Thanks to the introduction of new items and builds, she’s now a top-tier jungler.
That said, it’s important to understand Vi’s item spikes within the game to bring her to maximum potential. For this reason, we’ve compiled the best builds and runes, taking them from one of the strongest Vi players in the world: Bo.
Vi Jungle Build by Bo
Bo is known for playing very aggressively on Vi, with a strong presence in the early game. Whether it’s fighting the enemy jungler or ganking lanes, Bo will impact the map early on.
The first item to rush depends from game to time, but the most recent Vi builds prefer Black Cleaver as the item to rush. Following the recent buffs, the item gives a lot more value given that it shreds armor and grants a small movement speed bonus. Chempunk Chainsword is usually built first only against multiple healing sources.
Regardless of which item is built, the second core item is Radiant Virtue. The item grants a lot of great stats when ulting which Vi does almost every time the ability is available.

Vi uses only one rune setup for Vayne and it has Conqueror as a keystone rune. It grants additional attack damage when fighting, and some healing when fully stacked. For a skirmishers like Vi, it’s the best rune you can get on her. By going Precision as the primary tree, Uzi usually picks the following minor runes:
- Triumph for the extra healing;
- Legend: Tenacity for additional tenacity against crowd controls;
- Last Stand to deal more damage during skirmishes.

The secondary rune tree is Inspiration, with Magical Footwear and Cosmic Insight as the go-to choices. The first gives him a pair of free boots, saving 300 gold, while the latter guarantees lower cooldowns on items and summoners spells.
