Since the ongoing whispers of a cheeky additional DLC for The Witcher 3 evolved into a confirmation from CD Projekt Red that such content is indeed forthcoming before The Witcher 4, a persistent thought has lingered in my mind. On one side, Songs of the Past represents an RPG I cherish, the type of unexpected treasure that seems silly to hesitate over a decade and some time after its launch. Conversely, The Witcher 3 in its present state has long appeared to be as close to the perfect complete experience as one could achieve.
