In case you didn’t catch the premiere of this year’s Summer Geoffs, RGG Studio, the team behind the Like A Dragon/Yakuza franchise, revealed the launch date for their upcoming title, “Stranger Than Heaven.” This Japanese history-hopping crime brawler has attracted attention not just for its gameplay but also for its distinctive feature of digitally resurrected celebrities. While the game will showcase the likeness of Japanese actor Bunta Sugawara, the inclusion of rapper Tupac Shakur has drawn considerable interest.
The choice to incorporate Tupac into the game, which delves into the origins of the Tojo Clan, was elaborated on by RGG Studio head Masayoshi Yokoyama. The game will present a fictional story of what Tupac’s future could have looked like if he were still with us today. This imaginative decision aims to intertwine historical and cultural aspects in an engaging and thought-provoking manner.
“Stranger Than Heaven” is set to offer a quirky and captivating experience, fusing crime, history, and music. The game’s release is eagerly awaited, as fans are excited to witness how these varied elements will coalesce in this groundbreaking title.
