Valor Mortis' Acrobatic Showcase Ignites Anticipation for a Soulslike Ghostrunner Sequel

I believed I was quite informed about Valor Mortis, the Napoleonic first-person fencing soulslike being developed by Ghostrunner creators One More Level, but I realized I’d overlooked the four seconds of body magic hook-grappling showcased in the previous trailer. Consequently, the swinging and wall-running features of the newly enhanced demo caught me off guard, akin to how British archers surprised the French at Agincourt. Indeed, I’m aware that I’m approximately four centuries off in that comparison’s relevance.

Additionally, there’s a fresh trailer and a launch date: September 24th, 2026. Wait, that’s the same date as Control Resonant. And Silent Hill: Townfall. Plus, just one day ahead of Onimusha: Way of the Sword. While I’m less interested in that last one compared to the other two, it’s still quite remarkable.
