Aiming for a simultaneous trio of hardware releases appears to be thwarted by persistent RAM shortages, Valve has opted to launch the largely unaffected Steam Controller refresh without the support of Steam Machine or Steam Frame. It’s coming soon, as the release date is set for Monday, May 4th, with the price fixed at £85 / $99 / €99.
Costly? Perhaps a bit. A quality gamepad? Indeed, according to my assessment in our Steam Controller review, which has also been liberated from its embargo restrictions.
