Attorneys for Reinstated Unknown Worlds CEO Assert Krafton's "Self-Serving" Disclosure of Subnautica 2's Early Access Launch Date "Further Harmed the Game"

Well, it was never going to conclude that smoothly, was it? It appears that the revelation of an internal memo indicating that Subnautica 2 is targeting an early access launch in May won’t signify the end of the complicated legal battle between publishers Krafton and three former lead developers of the game – one of whom has now been reinstated.

Attorneys representing Unknown Worlds co-founders Charlie Cleveland, Max McGuire, and Ted Gill – the three leads – have now claimed that Krafton has “deliberately leaked” the memo from Steve Papoutsis, the executive the publishers appointed to oversee things after dismissing Cleveland, McGuire, and Gill last year.
