Intel has revealed plans for the imminent launch of their latest gaming CPUs, the Core Ultra 200S Plus series, scheduled to debut on March 26th, 2026. This lineup features the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus and Core Ultra 250K Plus, retailing at $299 and $199 respectively, with KF models available for those seeking processors without integrated graphics. These chips signify a return to focusing on performance, responding to the feedback on the initial Core Ultra 200S lineup, which prioritized efficiency over gaming capabilities. Intel VP Robert Hallock asserts these will be the “most rapid desktop gaming processors Intel has ever developed,” a crucial step to stay competitive against AMD’s 3D V-Cache technology, especially the Ryzen 7 9800X3D.
