The Golden Joystick Awards 2022 were recently announced to honor the best games of 2022. Among others, Elden Ring was the biggest winner with awards in 4 different categories. Its developer FromSoftware, was conferred the Studio of the Year Award.

Other winners of the Golden Joystick Awards 2022 include Guerrilla Games’ Horizon Forbidden West which got the Best Storytelling award, Stray and Grounded were the PlayStation and Xbox Game of the Year respectively, and Pokemon Legends Arceus was the Nintendo Game of the Year.
