Once there was a mighty carved cave troll named Terry Cavanagh who awoke from his slumber, brushed the opals from his copper-woven beard, and thought to himself: “Today, I shall create a 3D egg platform game where a 3D egg engages in platforming, reminiscent of my popular game VVVVVV, but in 3D and featuring eggs.” And since nobody was there to exclaim “WTF, Terry” or “maybe you just need a snack” or “Mr. Cavanagh, the egg’s lack of external limbs and senses completely prevents it from moving on its own,” that is precisely what he proceeded to do.
We are all better off for it, as Egg (subtitle “why not be an egg”) is truly eggcellent. It is also available for free and can be played right now in a browser on Itch.io.
