The reimagining of the “German Diablo” is being created by SparklingBit, the studio founded by Sacred’s creator, Franz Stradal. This remastered edition will feature enhanced gameplay – combat is now quicker and supports controllers, in addition to mouse and keyboard. The user interface, heads-up display, and textures have all been revamped for a new appearance. Furthermore, thanks to the support of our dedicated community, numerous bugs have been addressed.
Sacred 2 Remaster is scheduled for launch in the fourth quarter of this year for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X as a Complete Edition, inclusive of all updates and the expansion. Console players, in particular, have exciting news: after 16 years, they will finally experience the Ice & Blood expansion for the first time. However, those eager for multiplayer should choose the PC version, as the multiplayer feature is exclusive to this platform.
