Capcom Boosts the Excitement: Four Additional Fighters and More in the Significant Fighting Collection 2 Update

On August 7, Capcom will launch a complimentary update for the Fighting Collection 2, offering more than merely technical enhancements. This update centers on the addition of four new fighters to Street Fighter Alpha 3 UPPER: Maki, Yun, Eagle, and Ingrid, with confirmation that Ingrid will also appear in Street Fighter 6. The goal of this update is to enhance the collection’s appeal for both long-time fans and newcomers, particularly in multiplayer mode.

The Capcom Fighting Collection 2 brings together iconic 2D fighters from yesteryears, featuring games like Capcom vs. SNK 2, Power Stone 2, and Plasma Sword. All titles are equipped with online capabilities and rollback netcode, guaranteeing seamless gameplay in both casual encounters and competitive play. This collection is adaptable, functioning on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Switch, and it is also compatible with next-gen consoles such as Switch 2 and PS5.

Capcom shows that timeless games can stay significant through consistent updates and contemporary features, ensuring they remain fresh and enticing for both nostalgic players and fresh faces.
