Developer and publisher MicroProse is resurrecting the authentic tank simulation after nearly thirty years with Spearhead 2. In Spearhead 2, players can anticipate single-player and co-op skirmishes for up to 16 participants featuring a range of contemporary tanks and combat vehicles. Special emphasis has been placed on the realism of the vehicles. Each tank is crafted to dazzle with “faithfully recreated, functional interiors and realistic driving dynamics.”
Mission scenarios encompass raiding enemy supply lines, safeguarding key installations, clearing devastated urban areas, and targeting high-value enemies. All of this occurs on expansive, dynamic battlegrounds.
As of now, there is no set release date for Spearhead 2, but the game can already be added to your Steam wishlist. Additionally, the original title from 1998 will soon be available on Steam as well.
