Did you ever want to see Charles “MoistCr1TiKaL” White angry? Now you can thanks to US immigration officers not allowing the Moist Esports Apex Legends team into America for the Apex Legends Global Series.

MoistCr1TiKaL recently released a video on YouTube called “You’ve Never Seen Me This Mad” that announced to fans that they were letting the Moist Esports Apex team go after the players couldn’t get US visas after multiple attempts.

The worst part? Moist claimed there was no real reason.

Why did Moist Esports drop its Apex Legends team?

Moist Esports’ Apex Legends team includes two Australian players, Ben “Wxltzy” Walton and Matthew “Emtee” Trengove, who were both unable to get approved for US visas. MoistCr1TiKaL made the decision to drop the team so Wxltzy and Emtee could compete with their American teammate for the ALGS Split One Playoffs in Los Angeles.

According to Moist, their re-submission was declined yet again “for legitimately no real reason.” He told fans that despite working with “the best lawyers in the industyr” and roping in the higher ups at ALGS, US immigration denied the visas and wouldn’t offer a reason as to why.

Other top Apex Legends trios have been able to obtain visas, some even living and competing in the United States. Meanwhile, Moist Esports was denied despite being one of the game’s best teams. He was then left with no choice but to drop the two players so they would be allowed to compete in America in the near future.

Even though US immigrations allegedly gave no reason as to why the visas were denied, Moist believes it could be due to the esports organization’s name, which some may find “icky.” He added that he believes they’d never admit this as the reason, however, since it’s so silly. Still, each US immigration representative can make their own individual decision on whether or not someone is allowed into the country, whether people agree with their reason or not.

Said Moist: “I think they are so bad at their job they should be charged with treason.”

This news hit the gaming community hard, with many frustrated for Moist but also thanking him or shining a light on the concerning shortcomings of US immigration. A lot of people shared their own upsetting situations with family members being denied.
