We survived the crypto-mining-induced GPU price surges of 2018, the 2011 hard drive shortages triggered by [flooding in Thailand](https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/2011_Thailand_floods), and the pandemic-led PC boom. Recall the Discord stock alerts? The retailer lotteries? The waiting queues for *websites?*<\/p>\n<p>We can manage this. We can endure the rise in memory prices. However, we don\u2019t have to endure it quietly. We don\u2019t need to suppress our excitement for the PCs that run our PC games.
