Ubisoft Singapore has delayed Skull and Bones’ launch once again. Instead of November 8 this year, the action-adventure title will now release on March 9, 2023, on PlayStation 5, Stadia, Luna, Xbox Series X/S, and Windows PC.

Skull and Bones was revealed during E3 2017 and was originally set to release in the second half of 2018. Since then, Ubisoft has pushed back the release date even further, and today it’s scheduled for March 9, 2023.

“Although Skull and Bones’ development is finished at this stage, the invaluable feedback received during our various technical tests and insider program convinced us we could use a bit of extra time to polish and balance the experience even further and ensure you all get the best experience we can offer,” Ubisoft said in their announcement on Twitter. “We have therefore decided to push our initial launch date to 9th March, 2023,” they added.

Here’s Skull and Bones in brief!

Skull and Bones is a pirate game from a third-person perspective. As pirate captain, players will find themselves in the 17th century, sailing the tides of the Indian Ocean. They’ll start with a small ship but can quickly expand their fleet by acquiring different vessels like  sloops-of-war, frigates, and brigantines. The game features a single-player campaign, as well as a PvP mode.

If you’re eager to try the game, Ubisoft says there will be an open beta in the near future! The game is available for pre-order.
