It didn’t matter if they preferred a sword and shield, ranged combat, a spear, or fast daggers, Assassin’s Creed Origins accommodated every style. It was a complete change from the one-hit-kill abilities that previous games had – particularly the older titles like Assassin’s Creed II.

There were mythical elements, huge creatures to do battle with, and more wildlife than ever before – all of which could be hunted and used for resources. It was ambitious, enormous, and it marked the next generation of Assassin’s Creed.

Is Assassin’s Creed Origins Good?

So, let’s get to the question at hand.

Assassin’s Creed Origins is a great game – there’s no denying that fact. It was nominated for – and won – several awards, it boasted some of the best voice acting in the series, and it had one of the most emotional, immersive stories the series has ever seen. It looked phenomenal on screen, and the wide, open world meant that exploration opportunities never ceased to surface. It was the next generation of Assassin’s Creed, and it was very much a welcome addition to the series.

It was highly rated, well-received, and it picked up positive reviews across the board from gaming publications. If that isn’t enough to convince you that Assassin’s Creed is good, then take the word of a hardcore Assassin’s Creed fan – it’s definitely a game that you need to play.

Fortunately, as it came out six years ago, it’s not an expensive game. It can be bought for just a few dollars, pounds, or euros – or your local equivalent – and in some cases, you won’t need to pay anything for it.
