Sentinels are one of the top active orgs in esports as a whole, and their Apex Legends team is no exception. Their three-man team has had a lot of turnover this year though. Over the early part of 2023, they lost a number of longer-serving players. Crust who joined the team in 2020 left in January along with senoxe who joined in 2019. They replaced those two back in March with Rkn and Keon. Two players with a solid track record in Apex Legends esports. RamBeau would have been their third, before his early retirement.

This left one spot still open on the new Sentinels squad, and halfway through the ALGS Split 2 Pro League. We’ve just learnt who their latest signing is, Xenial. He joined the team just now to get involved with the current season of the ALGS.

Prior to signing up with Sentinels, Xenial has had a long history in the game since 2020. He started at RCO eSports White before moving to Spacestation Gaming. This was the longest of his stays where he had some great results like 6th at the ALGS 2022 Championship. Most recently he moved to Oxygen for just a month before making the jump over to Sentinels.

This new signing could be the one to help Sentinels make the jump to really dominate in Apex Legends. As we’re in the midst of the competitive season, fans don’t have to wait long to find out.
