The two-year partnership is the latest deal Team Vitality signed, after reaching agreements with famous brands like. JBL Quantum, Kingston FURY, Philips, hummel, and others.

According to the deal, Cherry Xtrfy’s brand will be featured on Team Vitality’s jerseys. The hardware brand, instead, will supply its product to the organization as well as support Vitality’s international expansion. In addition, the two brands will collaborate to create special activations for fans.

The partnership with Team Vitality will focus on the organization’s CS:GO team and provide its products in Team Vitality’s three main venues: its headquarters in Paris, as well as its performance centers in Berlin and at Stade de France.

The two companies additionally announced that they plan to develop co-branded products for the esports and gaming audiences in the future, but did not reveal any further details.

Cherry Xtrfy and its history in the hardware industry

Cherry Xtrfy was founded after Cherry, a German company mainly known for producing mechanical keyboard switches and keyboards, and is one of the oldest brands in the industry.

The company first created its keyboards in 1973, and they are considered pioneers in the sector when it comes to mechanical keyboards. In late 2022, the company finalized a merger deal with the Swedish esports-focused peripherals brand Xtrfy, renaming the brand to Cherry Xtrfy.

Nicolas Maurer, CEO of Team Vitality, said: “We are very happy to welcome CHERRY XTRFY as an official partner. We know that this brand is a reference for quality and performance within an ever-changing industry. The timing of their arrival at Team Vitality is ideal. CHERRY XTRFY will be at the heart of our 10th-anniversary celebrations and will benefit from our presence in the biggest international competitions.”
