Brawlhalla has had its latest Legend unveiled this week, Thea the Speedster! This reveal comes after a few days of teasing and speculation for fans. We’ve got the full reveal a bit early and it looks like one of the more interesting additions to the game. They’re sure to spice things up if they’re available in soon upcoming fighting game esports tournaments.

The new Legend was first hinted at first a few days ago. Brawlhalla tweeted out a teaser for the new character, it was a silhouette and just enough to get speculation going. Fans did originally think that the reveal wouldn’t be coming until the Spring Championship. We’ve got our full look quite a bit earlier than that though.

Thea the Speedster

Brawlhalla’s latest Legend is Thea the Speedster! The new Brawlhalla Legend was revealed during the Dev stream on Tuesday. Thea has two weapons in the game, her Battle Boots and Rocket Lance. One other character uses the boots but it’s been a while since a new Legend with the Lance hit the game. The key feature to Thea though is obviously speed. The character can get up x10 the normal speed!

It’s going to be a character that’s built for speedy gameplay. You can likely make use of them if you’re a particularly mobile player. We probably don’t have too long to wait before we see them added to the game too. Although, they might not be in play for upcoming tournaments like DreamHack SF.

When is The Patch?

The new Brawlhalla Legend is going to be added with the next patch. There isn’t currently a release date for that though. The new patch is set to release at some point soon and we’ll see the new Legend, along with other new features lie animated effects on Brawlhaven.

Before that patch drops, we can still look forward to getting more information on Thea the Speedster! We’ll see their signature move revealed on a stream on Friday!
