The Partner Teams have been made a part of the League in a much bigger way for the coming season. These teams will have guaranteed slots in PUBG Mobile events. This will give all tournaments in Mobile a greater sense of cohesion in each tournament, and give fans a team to route for across PUBG tournaments.

The teams chosen for PUBG Mobile Partner Teams program include most of the major names in the game. From FaZe clan to Team Secret, and RRQ, some big names made the cut.

In Southeast Asia, there’s Alter Ego, Bigetron Esports, Boom Esports, Persija Evos, and RRQ Esports for Indonesia. Greek Slate, SEM9, Team Secret, and Yoodo Alliance will be here for Malaysia. Then in Thailand, there will have Bacon Time, FaZe, and Vampire Esports. While the Philippines will get only one representation in PlayBook Esports, Vietnam gets two with Box Gaming and D’Xavier.

The new PUBG Mobile Partner Teams are part of the new revamp for competitive PUBGM. We’ve got a bit of a new format being tested in Southeast Asia, with the PMSL planning on expanding through to other regions in the future. This comes along with PUBG Mobile moving to a partner model. Although they’re not the only game to make the switch. There’s also PC PUBG that’s moved over recently.

The PUBG Mobile Partner Teams that have been chosen will become synonymous with PUBG in the coming seasons. It’s a pretty good deal for the orgs here though. They’ll be getting guaranteed slots at the PUBG Mobile Pro League and PUBG Mobile Super League. These teams won’t be paying a registration fee, at least for the first year of the Partner model.

PUBG Mobile esports will be heating up in current months. Now there are teams with guaranteed slots, there are going to be richer narratives developing as we see how the teams develop and clash regularly.
