With the start of Season 2 on 15 February, we were also able to welcome two new weapons in Warzone 2, which expand the weapon pool with another shotgun and an assault rifle. We have taken a look at the two new guns and tell you how you should play them.

In order to get the new weapons, you first have to unlock them via the Season 2 Battle Pass. In our article, we show you how you can get the two new lead syringes in your weapon cabinet in no time at all.

KV Broadside

First up is the KV Broadside, which can take out your opponents with just one broadside, in keeping with its name. Especially at close range, the new shotgun brings almost unparalleled firepower and fits perfectly into the line of automatic shotguns like the Expedite 12 and Bryson 890.

Even though shotguns are generally not the first choice in Warzone and find their place more in Modern Warfare 2”s multiplayer, the KV Broadside has instantly entered the ranks as the 7th most used weapon in Warzone 2.

This is how you should play the KV Broadside

  • Broadside: Mercenary Foregrip
  • Muzzle: SA MX-50
  • Laser: Point-G3P 04
  • Bolt: Quick bolt 60
  • Magazine: 25-shot drum

Extras

  • Basic Extra 1: Overkill
  • Basic Extra 2: Battle Steeled
  • Bonus-Extra: Nimble Hands
  • Ultimate Extra: Alert
  • Primary Equipment: Fragmentation Grenade
  • Tactical Equipment: Stim

To start with the Mercenary Foregrip, which, like the Laser Point-G3P 04, provides the necessary precision when firing from the hip. The extra control is also necessary thanks to the Quick Bolt 60 as it increases our rate of fire almost to that of an assault rifle.

Damage range, bullet velocity and recoil are once again improved by the SA MX-50 muzzle, while the 25-round magazine ensures we can hold our own against more than one opponent – without having to reload in between.

ISO Hemlock

Barely noticeable recoil and absolutely deadly at almost any range, that”s probably the best way to describe the newest assault rifle in Warzone 2.

Although the ISO Hemlock only ranks in the midfield at first glance, the right attachments turn it into a true monster.

The weapon is currently so strong, in fact, that it was banned from the Call of Duty League along with the TAQ-V after completely dominating the first week and being in almost every loadout in the pros.

This is how you should play the ISO Hemlock

  • Underflow: Lockgrip Precision-40
  • Laser: FSS OLE-V-Laser
  • Sight: Schlager 3.4X/Cronen Mini Pro
  • Magazine: 45-round magazine
  • Ammunition: 5.56 High Velocity

Extras

  • Basic Extra 1: Rush
  • Basic Extra 2: Battle-hardened
  • Bonus-Extra: Nimble Hands
  • Ultimate Extra: Alert
  • Primary Equipment: Fragmentation Grenade
  • Tactical Equipment: Stim

The setup of the ISO Hemlock is somewhat simpler than that of the KV Broadside. Here we are mainly concerned with optimising recoil, precision and range. Both Lockgrip Precision-40 and FSS OLE-V-Laser help us get the most out of the new assault rifle.

The 45-round magazine and the high velocity ammunition round off the setup and ensure that we always have enough ammunition with us and can still easily take out our targets at longer ranges.

Whether you end up packing the Schlager 3,4X sight or rather a Cronen Mini Pro is ultimately a matter of taste.

Warzone 2 – The fastest way to level up your weapons

YouTuber FourEyes introduces a new method to level up your weapons the fastest in Warzone 2. We tell you how it works.

In order to unlock all the attachments for a weapon in Warzone 2, you need to unlock its maximum level. For an average player, this usually takes a few hours.

However, the YouTube “FourEyes” presented a method in a video that should only take 20 minutes. We explain to you how it works.

This is the fastest way to level up

According to

FourEyes, the best way to level your weapon is on Ashika Island – and ideally you should activate a dual XP token for it.

For the method, it is not important that you eliminate enemies or use the weapon at all. On the contrary, you should avoid fights as much as possible.

It is best to land near a buy station and a contract – preferably “Loot” or “Most Wanted”. Then you have to collect 2,500 dollars as quickly as possible and buy the weapon you want.

Now the tactic is to complete as many Most Wanted contracts as possible. To do this, it helps to open as many crates as possible, because each crate you open reduces the contract time by 10 seconds.

According to FourEyes, you should ideally complete three to four contracts per game. Your weapon will then be at the maximum level after 2-3 rounds.
