Muerta was unveiled as the 124th Hero of this community at The International 2022 (TI11) post the Ability Draft Showmatch at TI11. This character’s prominence is evident in lore and relevant connections with reference to in-game items and some heroes. The skill set of some heroes is yet to come up.

Coming to its file names, all these files are appropriately labeled using multiple nicknames such as ‘Corpse mother’, ‘Bird Samurai’ and the ‘Gunslinger.’

The initial nickname does not completely resemble the new Hero only on the abilities’ concept art; there is work going on for its two other nicknames that define and suit the upcoming Hero.

For instance, the initial concept of Gunslinger’s empowered round might work similarly to that of Drow Ranger’s Frost Arrows by offering them bonus damage. On the other hand, Fan, The Hammer can be used in similar lines to Gyrocopter’s Rocket Barrage that, enables firing out the full salvo at a particular target.

For the concept of Corpse mother might refer to Muerta’s in-game file name, it is also possible to use the lore as the main Hero who’s teased during ‘an enduring revenant.’ Besides, other ability concepts on Life link, Grave Grapple, True Love and Soul Swell might help channel more of her revenant abilities.
