CDPR has announced the first expansion for their action-adventure title Cyberpunk 2077. It’s called Phantom Liberty and is set in a new district of the Night City. Announced during their latest Night City Wire live stream, Phantom Liberty is set to release in 2023 for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, Stadia, and PC.

Johnny Silverhand returns to Cyberpunk 2077

While CD Projekt Red didn’t give out any extensive details about the expansion, they did release a teaser trailer. We can see V, the protagonist, taking an oath of serving the New United States of America and the voice of Johnny Silverhand in his head warning that the oath is a bad idea. Maybe it’s just Johnny’s voice that’s returning and not the character but we’re sure no one will complain if we see him making an actual return!

We can expect more information on Phantom Liberty as its release date draws closer.
