Since the announcement that The Witcher 3’s decade-later expansion Songs of the Past is indeed legitimate and not just a hoax or baseless speculation, I’ve been absorbing every bit of information about its narrative that CD Projekt Red has shared. The fact is, aside from showcasing the environment and introducing a handful of characters that Gerry will interact with, they have been quite reserved on the details. On one hand, I understand the desire to preserve story surprises, but on the other hand, it would be refreshing to see the studio be more forthcoming regarding this additional chapter of a tale that many believed had reached a fulfilling conclusion ten years ago.
