During the weekend, a group of dedicated Grand Theft Auto 6 fans who keep an eye on developments discovered a portfolio reel by former Rockstar animator Benjamin Chue, which appears to showcase some work-in-progress elements from GTA 6. If the leak holds up, it’s not nearly as significant as the 2022 GTA 6 leaks: it features a couple of very preliminary animations from the upcoming open world game.
One showcases deuteragonist Lucia Caminos leaping out of a pick-up truck, which seems fitting for her character, although official GTA 6 trailers indicate she’d likely do it with considerably more jiggle. Another reveals a placeholder bald man – let’s give him a suitably generic name, like Jean-Luc Picard – retrieving a bike from a public bicycle rental station. Indeed, GTA 6 includes Boris Bikes.
