As the busiest Call of Duty season in history approaches, CODM creators have begun receiving mysterious invitations in the post. These ‘classified’ messages bear details of a Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile global summit, due to be held in London, England, between the 13th and the 14th of November. This date lands just two days before the global launch of Warzone 2.0, and at present, nobody really knows what to expect from this event.

On the 1st of November, the Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile limited alpha came to an end. It was revealed shortly after (potentially by mistake) that 6v6 multiplayer modes may also be coming to the Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile platform. It’s unknown at present why this would be featured in a battle royale game, particularly as Call of Duty: Mobile already exists and features the same modes potentially coming in CODWM.

COD Mobile Warzone was revealed at the Call of Duty: Next event that took place in September 2022. While it was announced alongside a relatively plain teaser trailer, it does serve as a source of excitement for some Call of Duty fans. When it launches, it’ll be the first time players have had the opportunity to drop into Verdansk in more than a year. At present, there’s no known release date for Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile, but it is expected to launch in 2023.

However, it seems that, within just two weeks, we’ll know much more about the impending launch of Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile.

In the last day or so, Call of Duty creators have been receiving ‘classified’ invitations to a Global Summit event in London. This invitation contains details of where, when, and how the event will take place, but there’s no information regarding the actual content of the event itself. Of course, it’s highly likely that this will be a networking event of sorts, but also potentially a reveal of a beta product, or even the final product, along with a release date.

Recently, mobile gaming – and mobile esports – has been on a warpath, working somewhat aggressively to become a dramatically popular form of gaming. In certain regions, mobile esports is king, and with almost every developer building a mobile alternative to ‘mainstream’ games, the scene is more diverse and accessible than ever before. There’s almost no chance that CODMW will overtake Warzone 2.0 in terms of popularity, but it will present a fantastic alternative to fans on the go, or to those that prefer mobile-based gaming.

We’ll have to wait just a few more days to see what’s revealed at the Warzone Mobile Global Summit between the 13th and the 14th of November.
