A K-pop group stole the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade by performing Baby Shark.

The Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade is one of the biggest television events of the year, with families gathering around to watch massive pop culture-inspired balloons float by as well as witness some entertaining performances. But it was a surprising performance by Enhypen that went viral.

Enhypen took to the stage with a giant Baby Shark float inspired by the film Baby Shark’s Big Movie. The talented boy band then performed “Keep Swimmin’ Through,” a song from the movie’s soundtrack.

The performance immediately mesmerized children but mainstream media was not ready for how hype adults would also get. Fans came out of every corner of the internet to gush over Enhypen’s parade appearance, tweeting that they would be watching clips over and over again. others commented on how cute the band looked while singing and dancing.

K-pop fans exclaimed that Enhypen should be invited to other big events again after such a hit moment.

It’s definitely a possibility, with Enhypen stealing the show over big names like Brandy, Cher, and Jack Harlow. And they didn’t even perform any of their songs from the Orange Blood EP — just Baby Shark music.

The K-pop stars are actually featured in Baby Shark’s Big Movie as well as one of the featured performances. They appear in the movie itself as a boy band of belugas.

Enhypen will have plenty of time to perform their actual music for fans thanks to the Fate World Tour. It will start up again in Taiwan, Singapore, and China in 2024.
